ur work is devote to the phytochemical and biological studies of aerial parts of tow medicinal algerian species of
Apiaceae family : Physospermum verticillatum (Waldts & Kit) and Ferula lutea (poir.)Maire.
The isolation and purification of eleven (11) compounds were performed by several chromatographic methods (CCM,
CC), the structures were etablished by spectral methods (MS, NMR).
This study allowed the evaluation of the antioxidant and antibacterial activities of the different extracts of the
tow species studied.
