Résumé : |
The present works concern the study of two medicinal endemic species in Algeria Halimium
halimifolium (Cistaceae) et Thymelaea microphylla (Thymelaeaceae).
Phytochemical investigation of these species using different chromatographic methods
(CC, TLC and HPLC) led to the isolation of 37 natural substances. All the structures were
elucidated by spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR experiments, as well as
ESIMS analysis and UV-Vis.
Moreover, the in vitro free radical-scavenging activity of the extract, major fractions and
isolated phenolic compounds of Halimium halimifolium and Thymelaea microphylla, species
has also been investigated by DPPH test.
The scientific validation of medicinal use of H. halimifolium water infusion and decoction
has been performed by determination of qualitative and quantitative analysis of phenolic
constituents using LC-UV-MS method, However, H.halimifolium infusion chowed a high
concentration of flavonoids that’s known by limit thier bioavailability as well as therapeutic
effect after oral administration and degradation in gastric fluids. In this research, Hh infusion
was produced by a spray-drying process using a combination of cellulose acetate phthalate
(CAP) as coating gastroresistant polymer and swelling or surfactant agents as enhancers of
dissolution rate. |
