In Algeria, since the Independence in 1962, the consumption and the manufacture of the urban space seems to be bound, not only that, the urban growth but it has a technical aspect which identifies the adopted urban politics also. To understand the consumption of an urban space through the time and under the action of some local strategies, the urban growth doesn’t develop itself in an uncertain manner and the consumption of the space is ineluctable. To make this precise observation that perceived to every period given the growth of the city, there are political, economic strategies and others that have oriented the development of the city in this way. How to detect all dysfunctions concerning consumption of space, in order to discover some mechanisms of it to put an adequate institution to avoid in place such practices that can not occur again anymore. Chelghoum Laïd with its downtown very aired its large streets to the big sidewalks, and its regular tracing of big islets, cache a serious problem of working whose first sign is the rarity of the lands capable to the construction. A fundamental inflation worthy of big city, tension permanent people’s responsible - private operators, and an obvious saturation for a small city puts the problematic marks the fashion of consumption and development of a city. Basing us on the data of land, on theories and on a some historiography, we tried to put in light the fashion of consumption (periods, quantities, recipients, etc.) of the urban space to Chelghoum Laïd and its logical link with the urban development. |
