The pragmatic, in its modern context, is allocated to the philosopher (CHARLE MORRIS) who used this term in (1938) indicating one of the three axes that semiotics comprises and which is: syntax, the semantics and of course the pragmatic which will treat the language in its use.
It is only in the Seventies that contemporary linguistic research was based on the pragmatic, built at this time there by three of the most brilliant philosophers of Oxford: (AUSTIN, SEARL and GRICE).
Analytical philosophy is the convent of the most significant theories of pragmatic like theory of the acts of speech, which were besides the core principal of this current and this throughout its development: for the period of institution with (AUSTIN) until it’s come to maturity under the responsibility of its pupil (SEARL).
This theory advances that any marked word constitutes an act and rests on the principle of intentionality, a principle which reports the junction between various contexts and obliges the determination of meaning of the speaker at the time of his speech.
One clearly finds the traces of the pragmatic current in the Arab traditional linguistic studies, because our large thinkers, some is their ideologies treated various writings (poem or others...) in a clearly pragmatic way.
After this short definition, we can say that the theory of the acts of speech studies any significance in relation to its context. It is also interested in the elements of communication in the remarks, taking account of the two interlocutors (receiving transmitter) like their respective social statuses without forgetting the conditions psychic, sociological, cultural and different determining this communication.
This work tries to lead to a pragmatic study by respecting the mechanisms from the theory from the acts of speech and insistent on the principles from the context and their role in the interaction between the interlocutors.
It results from the first chapter that the words are actually already accomplished acts as of the pronunciation. All the words differ from share the intensity of their |
