In this thesis, we focus our study on the Application of DVC on periodic video sequences.
We will introduce a new way of side information creation, suited for this type of video sequences. This solution is very simple unlike other techniques used in state of the art for side information creation such as interpolation and extrapolation, which are very complex because they are based on motion estimation.
