"In contnuation of our interest in the synthesis and the biological or pharmaceutical evaluation of quinoxaline derivatives and based on our research program which include the synthesis of heterocyclic molecules.
In the first chapter, and after having made a large preview on the most meaningful methods for the preparation of quinoxaline derivatives, as well as their roles in the therapeutic domain, we synthesized our raws material :
3-méthyl-2(1H)quinoxalinone, 3-méthyl-2(1H)-quinoxalinethione and 2-hydrazino-3-méthylquinoxaline.
In the second chapter we have synthesized styrylquinoxalinique by condesation
of 3-méthyl-2(1H)quinoxalinone with selected Aromatic aldehydes by two different methods
(in acidic or basic), then we prepared on original product : the 2,5-bis(4-methyl benzyl)-(4H)-1,4-oxazine which was fromed bay of 3-methyl-2(1H)-quinoxalinone and p-tolualdehyde.
In the third part of this chapter, we have prepared epoxides by epoxidation reaction of styrylquinoxaline with peracid (m-CPBA).
These compounds were fully identified by the usual spectroscopic methods (IR,
1H NMR, 13C NMR)."
