| Résumé : |
The divergent types of pollution and the lack of green belts are but tow among a plathora of factors that put the environment of Algeria at stake. Through this study, we have tried to diagnose the environmental situation of Algeria, regarding its divergent natural areas. We further tried to shade light on the importance of the environmental education and the role it plays in protecting nature since this kind of education is regarded as crucial in nature protection. Henceforward, the researcher tried to evaluate the roles played by the local effective factors. The study englobes three Algerian Eastern cities from north to south which exhibit a diversity of natural circles. These cities are: Skikda, Bordj Bou Arreridj, and Ouargla. The study results revealed a diversity among the different environmental threats and their degree in each city, based on the characteristics of the natural environment, of the human environment, and of the different economical activities practiced in each city. It was also concluded that the local effective actors at each city plays a significant role in solving its environmental issues. However, there activities remain insufficient because of the obstacles they face such as the lack of the financial and the Human Resources, the poor environmental formation, and the absence of coordination among the effective local factors.
