Résumé : |
The north-eastern region of Algeria has a variety of archeological and prehistoric poorly exploited and abandoned. Our research will focus on one major compartment of the field ecosystem is the ground on which are arranged archeological sites. So the research proposed will contribute to a better understanding of the geology of the archeological site to develop a strategy for risk recognition, preservation and protection of archeological remains. The province of Guelma has a rich cultural heritage, the Roman ruins of the old Announa Thibilis is one of the most famous archeological sites in the region. Indeed, the analysis of different cartographic such as: the topographic map, the contour map and the map of drainage and the decipherment of aerial photographs were used to map the unstable sites in the study area. Certain structures or morphological indices such as abrupt changes and perfect linearity of the river system, the deformation of the ridge lines, asymmetric flanks of massive erosion and active wadis inform us both tectonic activity that on the evolution of relief. Seismic activity in the region is a major factor in the deterioration of buildings and ancient monuments. As human action, relating to the quarrying of aggregates Djebel Announa was a real threat causing damage to the archeological site in question. So it is imperative to protect this heritage against all risks, including its preservation is part of a sustainable development perspective. |
