Résumé : |
In this research work, the modeling of some type of shielded transmission lines such as: microstrip, suspended microstrip and suspended coplanar line on a substrate having a complex electromagnetic property has been developed using the Generalised Exponential Matrix Technique in the spectral domain combined with the Galerkin procedure. A new analytical matrix formulation approach for the characterization of a planar structure printed on a complex medium is presented in details. The approach is based on
the Generalized Exponential Matrix Technique (GEMT) combined with the method of moments and Galerkin's procedure. The presented mathematical calculation development is a robust approach that exclusively uses matrix formulations starting from Maxwell's equations until the derivation of a compact form of the Green's tensor associated to the studied structure. Reduced complexity and calculation simplicity foundation of the applied approach have actually incited us to consider the case study of a complex lossy bi-anisotropic substrate medium transmission lines. Moreover, we successfully applied it to the case of multilayer structures including resonators. A full tensor form of all four constitutive parameters expresses the complexity of the medium: permittivity, permeability and magneto-electric parameters; each one is represented by a nine-element tensor, taking into account, for the first time, the substrate dielectric losses. A multitude of diverse and interesting results has been obtained, which are consistent with the literature. Among them, only the cases of exploitable applications have been interpreted. |
