The beam studied has a characteristic compressive strength of 20MPA, 25MPA and 30MPA. The thesis has two essential phases: theoretical and experimental phases. With regard to the experimental phase we have carried out several tests:
Three compression tests on three cylindrical specimens to obtain a concrete
characterized by a compressive strength equal to 2OMPA, 25MPA and 30MPA.
Three bending tests in four points on only three metal profiles to be compared with up beams completely embedded in concrete.
Three bending tests in four points on three metal profiles embedded in the concrete.
From these tests we deduce that the concrete embedding the IPE profiles increases the
bearing capacity and the load of ruin as well as the flexion rigidity compared to the metal profiles alone.The steps of the theoretical phase can be summed up in three points:
A calculation of the load bearing capacity of the composite beam with EC4 and AISC
codes.
A ruin loading calculation according to the EC4 code on the one hand and the
AASHTO code on the other hand.
A calculation of the bending deformation of the composite beam from several
rigidities. Each rigidity corresponds to one of the following codes: AIJ, EC4, AISC,
ACI and BS5400 We conclude that the EC4 code is the most conservative in relation to bearing capacity and the AASHTO code is considered to be the most conservative regarding ruin loading.
Nevertheless if we compare the calculation of the bending deformation by the codes we
deduce that they invalidate the conservation of the bending deformation.

شميدت طريقة الجمعIndex. décimale : 624 Génie civil Résumé : Traditionally, the standard method used to assess the strength of concrete in compression in concrete structures under construction includes testing compressive strength, performed on specimens cast at the same time. But this method has many drawbacks that arise because: the results are not immediately available; the concrete specimens may be different from this of the structure, for the fact that the cure or compaction may be different. On the other hand, the strength properties of a specimen depend on its size and shape. The development of reliable methods for non-destructive evaluation of the properties of in situ concrete then became prove of particular importance. These methods are based on the fact that some physical properties of the concrete can be connected to the compressive strength and can be measured by nondestructive methods. - Ultrasound UPV ( ultrasonic pulse velocity) and - The rebound -hammer Are among the most popular and commonly used non-destructive methods to assess the compressive strength of concrete structures on-site because of their simplicity and their lower cost. The evaluation of the strength of concrete is then based on empirical relationships between the values of the parameters of non-destructive testing and the results obtained by destructive testing; crushing test tubes and cores. Therefore it is imperative to establish correlation equations by using multi-variable and developing algorithms in matlab environment. Given the variability of the parameters influencing the property of concrete such as : - the type and size of the aggregates, - the type and content of cement, - the implementation of the concrete and to account for these factors, both of the two tests are combined and their measurements are calibrated with the results of mechanical tests on cylindrical specimens cast on site and on cores taken from two existing structures in work progress at the new-city, Constantine in Algeria. In this study; the two tests cited above have been used to determine the concrete quality by applying regression analysis models between compressive strength of in situ concrete on existing structure and the nondestructive tests values, the combined method is used, equations are derived using statistical analysis (simple and multiple regression) to estimate compressive strength of concrete on site and the reliability of the technique for prediction of the strength is discussed for this case study.

aggregates, cement quality and other influences .
This study to show the application of a nonparametric approach called ""Artificial Neural
Networks"" aims. to forecast the evolution of dimensional changes of chemical and
mineralogical composition of clinker strength, expansion and consistency.
The use of this approach allows the development of models for their prediction using a
multilayer network backpropagation. They are also based on a large database of experimental
results collected in the literature and on an appropriate choice of architectures and processes
of training utilized."
