Résumé : |
Our work is motivated by the problem of abandoned mines and the problem of water inflow in underground works. The South Sétifien deposits of which Chaâbet El Hamra entered evaluation in 1991, just after the closure and the abundance of Kherzet Youssef following the flood that occurred in June 1990. These two deposits are located 50km south of Setif chief town, in the region of Ain Azel. Geologically this
area belongs to para-Autochtenous and Autochtenous Hodenian The study of the Châabet El Hamra mine shows that the aquifer of the Hauterivien dolomies is cracked and
karstified type, was stopped for the problems of the inflow of water. We have attempted a hydrodynamic study to determine the characteristics of the aquifer. This study is based on a battery of five boreholes that have been proposed to readjust their alignment in order to establish simulations of the drawdown of the groundwater beneath the mineralization, the purpose of which is to resume exploitation of the deposit. In addition, the hydrochemical study confirmed the non-pollution of this aquifer by heavy metals from the zinciferous mineralization of the deposit. And therefore confirm his potability On the other hand, groundwater and surrounding soil analyzes of the abandoned Kherzet Youssef mine were conducted to determine the impact of the dumps and waste rock stored in the vicinity of the mine on the environment and groundwater. |
