Index. décimale : 530 Physique Résumé : The present work consists in the elaboration and characterization of the undoped and cobalt-doped ZnO with different concentrations of cobalt (Co) (0.5, 1, 5 and 10% in weight) thin films in order to improve the structural, morphological, optical and electrical properties of ZnO. The samples were prepared using the Sol-Gel method and deposited on glass substrates by the Dip-coating ""Dipping-Drawing"" technique. Structural haracterization showed the formation of ZnO of hexagonal structure (wurtzite) with a preferential orientation according to plane (002) and made it possible to determine the nanometric size of the crystallites. The SEM and AFM images revealed the nanometric character of our layers. Raman scattering confirmed the results of the XRD, namely the formation of ZnO with an hexagonal structure (wurtzite). UV-visible spectroscopy has shown that our layers have a transparency, in the visible, which varies between 80 and 98%. It has shown also that the gap decreases with the increase in doping. The hotoluminescence of the films showed ultraviolet (UV) and visible emissions related to defects. The codoping of aluminum to cobalt allowed us also to improve the structural and optical properties.

??? ????Index. décimale : 621 Electronique Résumé : Fetal MRI is a complementary modality to ultrasound examination. The segmentation of fetal MRIs is a recent method, quickly becoming an essential step in many clinical applications for antenatal monitoring of maturation or brain malformation. However, the artifacts inherent in this type of image and the low resolution of these images are at the origin of the difficulties encountered in the segmentation of these images. To overcome these, we propose in this memory, two methods of segmentation: (i) the first one is based on the geodesic active contours applied to adult MRIs for the automatic detection of the brain lesions, (ii) the second
one is based on the modification of the fuzzy segmentation to achieve the classification of fetal brain MRIs. The first method is a combination of the geodesic active contours function and the Gradient Vector Convolution (GVC) in order to improve the detection of the boundaries of the objects to be segmented. The model has been tested on adult MRIs that contain brain tumors or multiple sclerosis lesions. This model has been satisfactory in adults but not in the fetal case. This led us to use an unsupervised classification especially with
fuzzy segmentation models. We have therefore, integrated the local and non-local distance in the term of attachment to the data of the RFCM (Robust Fuzzy C-Means) energy function, and integrate non-local means in the regularization term. An algorithm based on layer-bylayer segmentation of fetal brain regions, has been developed. Quantitative and qualitative results on real cerebral fetal images showed the efficacy and robustness of the proposed method compared to the methods described in the literature.

Index. décimale : 540 Chimie et sciences connexes Résumé : This doctoral thesis is devoted to the study of azo dyes and their organometallic complexes, which are a particular class of chemistry whose importance and interest to remain our considerable days. The dye industry is nowadays a permanent investigative sector that continues to grow.
The content of this thesis presents a contribution to the study of some coloring substances containing the chromophore azo -N = N- and their organometallic complexes subdivided as follows:
A general introduction, to position the interest of the subject, followed by a first chapter a bibliographic overview of dyes, azo dye compounds and their metal complexes history, generalities, application then we presented the various techniques experimental used.
The second chapter deals with the synthesis of a series of azo dyes followed by an analytical study of characteristic structures obtained by conventional spectroscopic methods: IR, 13C NMR, 1H NMR, UV-Visible, elemental microanalysis and a structural resolution and crystal X-ray diffraction study of new synthesized compounds.
The third chapter is devoted to the synthesis of a series of new organometallic complexes using the new chromogenic azo compounds synthesized as ligands with different metals as: Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(III), followed by an analytical study of characteristic structures obtained by conventional spectroscopic methods: IR, , 1H NMR, UVVisible, elemental microanalysis and a structural resolution and crystal X-ray diffraction study of new synthesized complexes.
The synthesized ligands are usually based on the skeleton of the azobenzene, they are aromatic or pseudo-aromatic systems linked by an azoic group (-N = N-). They are obtained by treating primary aromatic amines with nitrous acid, in a reaction known diazotization followed by diazo-coupling, these azo compounds obtained underwent
complexation reaction with different metals: Cu(II), Ni(II), Co(III) to yield organometallic complexes or metal-dyeing dyes.
