The fundamental purpose of this study is to try to know to what extent oral feedback provided by teachers can help third year pupils of secondary school to improve their speaking skill. Therefore, the general idea behind this work is to shed light on the effective use of teachers’ oral feedback that can help the students in the development of their speaking performance .This is accomplished through an analysis of data collected through questionnaires administered to both teachers and pupils in the secondary school. The results revealed that the majority of pupils require effective oral feedback to improve their English speaking skills.
