Résumé :	as appropriate maintenance. In this thesis, we are also interested in the various diagnostic assistance tools allowing the optimization of maintenance in the field of dependability. The study of the links of the functional chain is an essential step for the development of a diagnose able to take care of the various defects. The study of the defect itself also makes it possible to improve the diagnostician but also to be able to considerably reduce the production downtime by decreasing the different intervention times. One of the key links of the functional chain in the industrial field is the asynchronous machine. The study of defects that may affect it during its lifetime is a step not to be neglected. For the purpose of application, we first presented the modeling of the MAS using the different transformations of Park, Concordia, Ku and their simulation. In order to have some targeted results we introduced a short-circuit fault in the stator winding which causes an increase in the currents in the affected phases, modifies the power factor and amplifies the currents in the rotor circuit. The short circuit to the stator also causes an increase in currents in the rotor cage (bars and rings) which can lead to their deterioration. Finally, we realized our program and had satisfactory results that match the results found in the literature
