The aim of this paper is to show the importance of using cooperative learning on
enhancing students’ speaking skill in EFL classes. It attempts to shed light on the importance
of establishing cooperative group work as an attempt to improve learners’ oral proficiency.
The present study is based on one main hypothesis stating that if the teachers use cooperative
learning and design appropriate techniques in EFL classes to develop students speaking skill;
then learners will feel more comfortable, use English spontaneously and their speaking skill
will be enhanced.
The method of this research is descriptive that is, it aims to describe two aspects:
cooperative group work as the independent variable, and its role in improving learners’ oral
proficiency as the dependent variable, to implement this research and confirm our hypothesis,
we administered two questionnaires, one for third year LMD students and another one for
teachers in the English Department of Frères Mentouri University during the academic year
(2017-2018). The outcomes of this research provide evidence that cooperative group work is
the right strategy for developing students speaking skill. The main conclusion drown from this
research shows that cooperative learning helps third year LMD students in enhancing their
oral production |

Les déchets industriels dangereux constituent une source potentielle de pollution importante,
ils représentent une menace séreuse pour l’homme et l’environnement.
Ce travail présente les risques générés par les activités de tri, stockage et élimination des
déchets spécieux dangereux dont le producteur est le secteur industriel « NAFTAL
BOUNOUAIRA _EL KHROUB »
L’objectif de notre étude est de faire la synthèse et l’analyse de l’état des lieux sur les déchets
spécieux dangereux dans le site de NAFTAL BOUNOUAIRA et les différentes méthodes de
traitement et d’élimination de ces dernières.
Il s’agit tout d’abord de faire le diagnostic sur la gestion actuelle des déchets spécieux
dangereux, sur les aspects réglementaire présenter les méthodes de tri, conditionnement
stockage ainsi qu’une description des filières d’élimination.
Pour bien gère les déchets il fout ensuite organiser de manière rigoureuse leurs circuits en
s’appuyant sur un plan interne de gestion de déchets avec la production d’un guide de
formation, information pour sensibilise les acteurs concernés |

Research in the field of the second language learning emphasizes the importance of
learning a language with its four main skills writing, reading, speaking and listening.
The writing skill is the key study of this dissertation. Researchers indicated that
writing is a complex system and the mastery of this skill is influenced by so many
factors, among them intrinsic motivation. Intrinsic motivation tends to be an
important psychological factor that affects the writing skill greatly, and it is
considered as a key for success or a reason for failure. To check these two aspects of
writing and intrinsic motivation, we hypothesis that intrinsically motivated students
tend to engage actively in the writing tasks. Two questionnaires are devoted to test the
aforementioned hypothesis. The first questionnaire is administered to a randomly
selected sample of second year English language students; it aims to investigate their
attitudes and perceptions about the writing skill and the role of intrinsic motivation.
While, the teachers' questionnaire is carried out in order to investigate the teachers’
awareness and attitudes toward intrinsic motivation and its role in developing writing
The obtained results confirmed that intrinsic motivation has a crucial influence on
writing skill and the learning process in general ,moreover results showed that
teachers' have a degree of awareness about intrinsic motivation as a psychological
factor that influence the writing skill as well as the learning process |

Many university students have a limited amount of exposure to spoken English prior to
entering university. However, for these students to succeed in the university studies and in
their future jobs, it is necessary for them to be able to express their ideas clearly in the
spoken English. Oral presentations are activities that can be used in the language classroom
as an effective tool for improving the students speaking skill. This research work aims at
investigating teachers’ and students’ attitudes towards the role of oral presentation in
improving students’ speaking skill. In order to check our hypothesis, data is gathered
through questionnaire. This latter is administered to forty students of 2nd year license at
Frères Mentouri University, and another administered to ten oral expression teachers,
seeking to know their attitudes towards the use of oral presentations in improving the
students speaking skill. We analyzed the obtained data through a descriptive analysis.
Research findings show that both teachers and students believe that oral presentations help
students improve their performance in oral expression course; thus, confirming our
hypothesis. We suggest that teachers should encourage oral presentations in their oral
classes to improve students’ speaking skill |
