Format : 30cm. Note générale : Une copie electronique PDF disponible au BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Vocabulary using the Mobile Learning Application Word Up Application the present study’s hypothesis is confirmed. Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : This study is intended to investigate the effect of mobile learning applications, specifically
word-up application, as an aid to enhance the students’ vocabulary since it is important in
developing language skills. Using mobile learning applications helps the students to practice
and learn new vocabulary because having an extensive vocabulary supports them to learn with
clarity. This research aims at investigating the effect of mobile learning applications and word
up application to enhance the learners’ vocabulary and to test the study’s hypothesis which is
“If EFL learners use word-up application regularly, their vocabulary knowledge would
increase.” That is to say, if teachers present word up application as a tool to be used inside
and outside the classroom, then students would retain and remember words easily and, thus,
enrich their vocabulary.; two questionnaires have been administered to intermediate level
students and their teachers, and a quasi-experiment (pre-test and post-test) is designed to test
the students’ performance before and after using the word-up application. The results of the
present study show that word-up application is beneficial since it can aid to motivate the
students to keep learning new vocabulary even after classes. Eventually, this technique can be
suggested to the teachers as a new strategy that would motivate the students and make their
vocabulary learning different, which, in turn, can prepare them to learn with the teacher or
independently. Therefore, the present study’s hypothesis is confirmedDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13848 Boosting Foreign Language Learners’ Vocabulary using the Mobile Learning Application Word Up Application Case Study of Intermediate Level Students at Faith Training Center/Private School [texte imprimé] / Djazia Benhafed, Auteur ; Achouak Bader, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 94 f. ; 30cm.

Titre : Elevating self-esteem and oral engagement through enhanced teachers’ sociability : The case study of first year L.M.D. students of english at brothers Mentouri University Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Romaissa Abbas, Auteur ; Asma Boudefa, Auteur ; Achouak Bader, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine Année de publication : 2017 Importance : 108 f. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Language Sciences Studies Self-Esteem Oral Engagement Teachers’ Sociability Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The main aim of the current study is to investigate the role of teachers‘ sociability in enhancing students‘ self-esteem to speak. In other words, in this study we shed light on the concept of teachers‘ sociability as recommended solution to improve students‘ self-esteem that, in turn, leads to better oral engagement. Since students‘ psychological state has direct influence on their academic achievements as far as their speaking skill is concerned, the teachers, as well, have a great influence on the psychological state of their students. To carry out this research and confirm its hypothesis which states that ―if there is higher teacher sociability, students‘ self-esteem to be orally engaged will be increased,‖ two questionnaires have been administered to both students and teachers. Students involved in the questionnaire are randomly chosen among 1st year LMD in the department of English at the University of Brothers Mentouri, Constantine, Algeria. Moreover, a sample of ten (10) oral expression teachers of the same department has been administered a questionnaire. These questionnaires are administered to check whether teachers‘ sociability has an effect on students‘ self-esteem to enhance their oral engagement. In addition to that, this investigation includes the discussion of the results and the comparison between the two questionnaires which enable us to confirm that teachers‘ sociability has, indeed, a great influence on students‘ self-esteem to be orally engaged. Titre : Investigating the role of competency-based approach in enhancing the Students’ writing skill : A case study of third-year pupils at rabah sahdi secondary school in Constantine Type de document : texte imprimé Auteurs : Roufia Maadadi, Auteur ; Achouak Bader, Directeur de thèse Editeur : CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : UNIVERSITE DES FRERES MENTOURI Année de publication : 2014 Importance : 82.f Format : 30cm. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Langue Anglaise Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Most EFL learners face difficulties to master all the aspects of writing and to
produce acceptable paragraphs or essays. The pupils of Rabah Sahdi secondary school, as
a sample of the Algerian secondary school pupils, find many problems in writing their
paragraphs and composition effectively. This is due to the complexity of the writing skill
and complaining all the time about their problems to write their English academic
composition. This research work attempts to investigate the effects of the Competency-
Based Approach on third-year students’ writing achievement. Thus, we hypothesize that if
English teachers use competency-based approach, then student's writing process will
improve. To verify the validity of this hypothesis, we have conducted classroom
observation and a questionnaire for 04 teachers and 26 students. In addition to, an analysis
is carried out after the observation and the questionnaire. Then, the results reject the
hypothesis that students’ writing proficiency will be enhanced through the use of the
competency-based approach.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=1375 Investigating the role of competency-based approach in enhancing the Students’ writing skill : A case study of third-year pupils at rabah sahdi secondary school in Constantine [texte imprimé] / Roufia Maadadi, Auteur ; Achouak Bader, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : UNIVERSITE DES FRERES MENTOURI, 2014 . - 82.f ; 30cm.
