Résumé : |
This study was to investigate the protective and antioxidant effects of green tea and Chrysanthemum sp extracts in experimental model of streptozotocin-induced diabetes mellitus in mal Wistar rats, streptozotocin was administered intravenously in a single dose of 55 mg/Kg body mass, rats were treated with 100 mg/KG body mass green tea extract and 200 mg/KG body mass Chrysanthemum sp extract (through tube feeding), one week before the streptozotocin induction and 20 days after
Our results indicate that green tea and Chrysanthemum sp extracts have an antiradical, hypoglycemic and hypolipemic effects, those effects are improved by the increase in the level of GSH in rat’s lever, kidney ant pancreas, and a decrease of blood glucose, MDA, Cholesterol, triglycerides and transaminases. Green tea and Chrysanthemum sp extracts offer a protection against oxidative stress, cardiovascular diseases and debate’s complications |
