monolingual and bilingual dictionaries, and determining which type of these dictionaries is
more reliable and efficient in learning vocabulary. Thus, we hypothesize that the learners
who use the monolingual dictionary will more likely improve their vocabulary. The
hypothesis was evaluated by an analytical study inferred from the results of both teachers
and students questionnaires. The analysis of the latter revealed that most Third- year EFL
students use dictionary. However, the majority of them uses the monolingual type (MD)
and finds it as easy as the bilingual one. In the same vein, the use of the monolingual
dictionary is more beneficial and advantageous than using the bilingual. Accordingly, the
hypothesis was validatedDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=6899 Comparing the effects of monolingual and bilingual dictionaries in enhancing learners’ vocabulary: : The case of third-year lmd students of english at the university of mentouri, constantine [texte imprimé] / Khoula Mokrane, Auteur ; Loubna Lahoues, Auteur ; Sabrina Bouhali, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 76 f. ; 30 cm.

Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie electronique PDF disponible au BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Teachers’ Experience of Teaching English. Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Creative writing is a kind of writing that is considered as an important element in any
language course; it helps students to express their thoughts, opinions, emotions,
imaginations, and to communicate ideas. Expressing one’s idea convincingly requires the
integration of a range of useful teaching and learning strategies among which precise
Vocabulary is of a great significance. This dissertation focuses on the impact of the lack of
Vocabulary on the Students ' creative writing tasks and the effect of having strong
vocabulary background in producing clear pieces of creative writing. It also aims at
determining to what extent the lack of vocabulary affects EFL learner’ creative writing.
We hypothesize to this effect that if third -year students at the department of letters and
English language, at Frères Mentouri University of Constantine, have a rich vocabulary
background, they will develop their creative writing and produce good pieces of writing.
To carry out this study, a group of thirty (30) third year students in the department of
Letters and English Language, at Frères Mentouri University Constantine 1 were invited to
fill -in- the gaps test and fill in a questionnaire. Additionally, a teacher questionnaire was
conducted with twelve (12) Written Expression teachers. The analysis of the results of the
above-mentioned tools of research revealed that Students face the problem of the lack of
Vocabulary, and that the latter negatively affects their creative writing. Thus, the
hypothesis was confirmed.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=15804 Investigating EFL Learners’ Lack of Vocabulary and Its Impact on their Creative Writing A Case Study of Third-Year Students at the University of Frères Mentouri, Constantine 1 [texte imprimé] / Nour El Houda Zebiri, Auteur ; Sabrina Bouhali, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2021 . - 85 f. ; 30 cm.

Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Code-switching Attitudes Investigation EFL classrooms. Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Code switching is seen as a suspicion in EFL classes. The present research aims to investigate
teachers’ and students’ attitudes toward the use of code switching in EFL classrooms.
Therefore, a hypothesis is formulated to check whether teachers’ and students’ code switching
in EFL classes will have a positive impact on the teaching and learning processes or not. To
reach this end, a questionnaire has been used as a research tool; one administrated to SecondYear students of English, and another one to teachers of English at the department of English
at Mentouri University Constantine in the academic year 2019/2020. The results of the analysis
and interpretations of the data compiled from both questionnaires display that students do not
share the same opinions and attitudes with teachers towards code switching in EFL classrooms.
The findings indicates that the use of code switching inside EFL classroom has an impact on
both teachers and students in teaching and learning processes.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13584 Investigating Students’ and Teachers’ Attitudes Towards Code Switching In EFL Classes A Case Study of Second Year Students at Mentouri University [texte imprimé] / Achouak Chelghoum, Auteur ; Sabrina Bouhali, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 71 f. ; 30cm.

Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The foremost target behind this research is to investigate the role of classroom
interaction in enhancing EFL students' speaking skill. It has been hypothesized that rising EFL
learners' degree of interaction by Oral Expression teachers will improve their speaking skill.
To evaluate the validity of this hypothesis, two questionnaires were administered to thirty-one
(31) students of second- year LMD and ten (10) Oral Expression teachers in The University of
Mentouri during the Academic year 2018-2019, to get information about the effect of
classroom interaction on developing the speaking skill. There were sufficient findings, which
reveal learners' and teachers' acknowledge the importance of classroom interaction as an
effective pedagogical technique to enhance learners’ speaking skill.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=11617 Investigating the Role of Classroom Interaction in Enhancing EFL Students’ speaking Skill The case of Second year LMD students of English at Constantine University [texte imprimé] / Sabrina Ghedghedj, Auteur ; Sabrina Bouhali, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2019 . - 83 f. ; 30cm.

Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : the Situations and Factors of Speaking Speaking anxiety psychological disorder. Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Speaking anxiety is a psychological disorder that occurs in any learning contexts. In the
Algerian EFL class, speaking English is impacted by anxiety. The main objective of this
research was, therefore, to examine the problem of communication fear from various
viewpoints, taking into consideration its significant parameters. To fulfill this aim, which
intended to prove that If EFL learners are put in hard situations and surrounded by some
disturbing factors, this will lead them to suffer from speaking anxiety, a case study research
was conducted at Mentouri Brothers University, Constantine 1. For data collection, an online
questionnaire via Facebook for EFL Master 1 students of Didactics was used. The participants
of the study were 24 out of 120 students of Didactics in Mentouri University, Constantine.
The information obtained through this research tool was analyzed quantitatively. The analysis
of the results confirmed that all these students encounter speaking fear to a certain extent. In
this path, learners suffer from anxiety when they are in particular situations and/or due to
several causing factors; hence, their speaking performance in this case is not at its best. On
that account, coping with this phenomenon is extremely crucial to improve the speaking skill
inside EFL Algerian classroomsDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=13685 Investigating the Situations and Factors of Speaking Anxiety in EFL Classes Case study of Master 1 Students of Didactics at Mentouri University [texte imprimé] / Seif Eddine Djeddou, Auteur ; Sabrina Bouhali, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2020 . - 72 f. ; 30cm.
