more and more popular especially in foreign language classroom. The present study aims
at exploring attitudes towards Oral Presentation Technique role in enhancing the students’
speaking skill. for this purpose, we hypothesized that if third year students at the
Department of Letters and English, university Frères Mentouri, Constantine show a
positive attitude towards the introduction of Oral Presentations Technique, and teachers
adopt it into their classrooms as a technique for teaching oral expression, then, the students
speaking skill would probably get improved. In order to check the research hypothesis, two
questionnaire were administered to a sample of ten teachers of Oral Expression course and
sixty students of third year at the Department of English, University Frères Mentouri,
Constantine, to get information about their opinions and attitudes towards the use of Oral
Presentation Technique in language teaching and learning, particularly, to enhance the
speaking skill. The analysis of the questionnaire showed that the majority of the teachers
and students consider Oral Presentation as an important pedagogical technique in
enhancing the speaking skill, which confirmed our research hypothesis. The use of the Oral
Presentations is deemed as a successful Technique to be applied in language teaching and
learning to develop speaking outcomesDiplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=10314 Attitudes towards the role of oral presentations in enhancing foreignlearners’ speaking skill : The case of third year students at the department of letters and english, university des frères Mentouri, constantine [texte imprimé] / Hesna Kram, Auteur ; Imen Bilouk, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2018 . - 124 f. ; 30 cm.

Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. It aims to uncover the main causes of students’ anxiety and then, to find out ways to reduce it in order to perform better orally. We hypothesize that if EFL students feel anxious in oral classes, then their oral performance will be impacted negatively. The research depends on two main data gathering tools, which are a questionnaire and a test. The questionnaire was directed to 15 teachers at the Department of Letters and English language, University of Mentouri-Constantine, and another one was administered to 50 second year LMD students of English (which was drawn from a population size of 343 students) at the same department, in addition to the students’ test scores to compare between their oral performance scores and their level of anxiety. The results displays that most foreign language students have a moderate level of anxiety, particularly in the speaking skill. Furthermore, their anxiety in oral performance is caused by many factors, among them communication apprehension, test anxiety, and fear of negative evaluation, which impact their learning and lead to a poor performance in the classroom. The results also represent different strategies that students and teachers can use to lower foreign language anxiety and help students to improve and develop their level of oral performance Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=5147 The effect of anxiety on students’ oral performance : The case of second year (lmd) students of english at mentouri university, constantine [texte imprimé] / Hiba Bouakicha, Auteur ; Narimane Bouchoucha, Auteur ; Imen Bilouk, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 87 f. ; 30 cm.

Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Language Science Using Authentic Enhancing Speaking Skills Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : The present study examines the relationship between using authentic materials and the improvement
of speaking skill for foreign learners, which are considered as a new meth in teaching the oral skill.
This study aims at investigating the effectiveness of using authentic materials in enhancing the
students’ speaking skills. Therefore, we hypothesize that teaching the speaking skill through
authentic materials in foreign language classes will enhance students’ oral proficiency. To validate
the previous hypothesis, we used two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was administered to a
sample of 54 out of 344 students of second year LMD at the Department of Letters and English
Language University of “FréreMentouri” Constantine; the second one is given to 15 teachers of
Oral Expression at the same Department to get information about the impact of using authentic
materials in Oral Expression module in developing the students’ speaking skills. After the analysis
of the data collected from the two questionnaires, the results reveal that both learners and teachers
consider authentic materials as an important teaching aid, for they facilitate the teaching process by
increasing the learners’ language use which leads to improve their speaking skill. On the basis of
the results obtained, some recommendations have been proposed to help students overcome their
difficulties in order to improve their speaking skill, and others to guide teachers to effectively
implement this technique while teaching the oral skills.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4647 The effectiveness of using authentic materials in enhancing the students’ speaking skills : The case of third year lmd students of english at fréres mentouri university,Constantine [texte imprimé] / Nada Boulcherab, Auteur ; Asma Boumegoura, Auteur ; Imen Bilouk, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 81 f. ; 30 cm.

Therefore, the lack of motivation is considered as one of the basic problems that EFL learners encounter while communicating. The present work attempts to investigate the role of extrinsic motivation to improve learners’ reading performance. The present research work is a case study of second year LMD English students in the department of English at Mentouri University. Data collection was done two instruments of research: a students’ questionnaire and reading test. In order to investigate the influence of some external motivators on students’ reading achievement. The results obtained from the data collected allowed us to know about how much students are aware about the importance of foreign language reading, what affects it and the significant role of the extrinsic motivation on developing students’ reading performance. Format : 30 cm. Note générale : Une copie électronique PDF disponible en BUC. Langues : Anglais (eng) Catégories : Lettres et Langues Etrangères:Langue Anglaise Tags : Language Sciences Motivating Speaking Skills Index. décimale : 420 Langue anglaise Résumé : Speaking is a crucial skill that students are required to master when learning a foreign
language. However, speaking is not an easy skill to master, especially in a foreign language. It
is a demanding skill that requires learners to be motivated and spend much effort and time
practicing it. The current study aims to investigate the role of motivation in enhancing the
speaking skill. Therefore, we hypothesis: If teachers motivate students through using a variety
of strategies during oral English classes, learners’ speaking skill would be improved. To
validate the previous hypothesis, we adopted a descriptive methodology of investigation,
which consists of two questionnaires. The first questionnaire was administered to a sample of
fifty second year students of English at the Department of Letters and the English Language,
University of Mentouri-Constantine. The second questionnaire was administered to a sample
of fifteen Oral Expression teachers at the same department. The major findings show that the
students have difficulties in speaking the language fluently because of the lack of motivation.
Moreover, without motivation, students are less interested in practicing the language during
the oral session, implying that integrating motivational strategies is the best technique for
enhancing the students’ speaking skill.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=4828 The role of teachers in motivating students to improve their speaking skills : The case of second year (lmd) students of english at mentouri university-constantine [texte imprimé] / Rayane Zeghad, Auteur ; Maroua Sayah, Auteur ; Imen Bilouk, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2017 . - 96 f. ; 30 cm.
