Résumé :	Public spaces are fundamental components of the urban form of the city and are a complex spatial system. As such، careful reading of the history of these areas showed that they were the medium of choice for many social and spatial practices. To this end، it is important to understand their evolution and the different mutations that have occurred on its spaces and assert that the regulation that frames these public spaces must be explicit and uniform while clarifying their membership to enhance their management methods and address the maintenance issue and maintenance of these spaces، which constituted for always challenges for city authorities. In this regard، our study aimed to clarify the evolutionary process of these spaces and their transfer through an analysis methodology that combines three approaches، social، morphological and systemic and is based on a theory that fits our problem while seeking to determine the apparent and non-apparent parameters that are causing physical and visual mutations public spaces and identify the impact of these changes in time on evolution and the spatial organization of the object city 'study. The explicit choice of two urban entities، the Argoub that unplanned traditional fabric and constitutes the core of the city and OuaaouaaMadani ex chouaf that a recent tissue and that was the first neighborhood planned after independence. These two urban entities seem particularly representative of the city and needed to identify، define and understand our corpus، the role and countless practices of urban life and the multiple levels of uses that act in these spaces. This study will be sanctioned by a general conclusion that embodies the search results and can constitute a value added to scientific research.
