Résumé :	The establishment of an international criminal court was not by chance, but was the result of many efforts that have been translated in the form of the establishment of a number of temporary international criminal tribunals, which included in its entirety recognition of a number of guarantees for an accused person questioned in front of her, but it was not enough to achieve the desired justice, which called for reflection on the establishment of a judicial international criminal system entrusted with the accountability of perpetrators of international crimes; accountability in which they are guaranteed the provision of guarantees for a fair trial, and indeed, the dream of mankind has been realized in the establishment of this organ, which has been referred to as the International Criminal Court, whose existence is the number one guarantee in the list of these guarantees, in addition to a set of other guarantees, which was stated in its Statute, some are of a general nature, such as the Court's adherence to the international criminal accountability requirements in its consideration of the international criminal case, others are of a special nature, such as those relating to the stages of investigation and prosecution..
