The femoral part is the most complex one to realize due to its complex shape and its material, which is generally difficult to machine. To reduce the volume of bone cut during the operation, the thickness of this part is in constant reduction. This thickness reduction induces a decrease of the safety factor before the prosthesis failure, increasing the importance of the nominal thickness ensuring. During the manufacturing process, of these components distortions appear on roughcast workpiece geometry. The contact between the femoral component and the intercalary is nonconforming; this property allows a geometric variation of the surface finish of
these parts without a reduction of the prostheses function. Thus, prosthesis manufacturers choose to ensure the nominal thickness of the prosthesis by removing a constant thickness on the roughcast workpiece. This operation is generally carried out by an abrasive process realized manually by an operator.
The aim of this thesis work is to contribute to the automation of these operations by providing a method to adapt the machining toolpaths at geometrical variations of the target surface. The aim of this research work is to adapt a machining toolpath computed on a nominal model to remove a constant thickness on a roughcast measured surface. The proposed method starts with an alignment step of the measured surface on the nominal toolpath using an ICP algorithm. Subsequently, the nominal toolpath is deformed to remove the desired thickness of the measured rough surface defined in presented case by a STL model. Naturally, discontinuities of this type of model induce the apparition of pattern for the STL on the adapted toolpath and thus on the machined workpiece.
Subsequently, to limit this problem and to improve the quality of realized surface, it is proposed a toolpath smoothing method. To validate theoretical developments of this work, tests were carried out on a five-axis machine for roughing of femoral components of a unicompartmental knee prosthesis.

With the opening of markets and the increased of competition the criteria of quality and flexibility have become crucial to the maintaining and expansion of market share, for this reason production automation solution is needed. Automated production has known in recent years a considerable development in all these phases (from design to inspection passing through the manufacturing process) with a greater or lesser degrees but inspection function is still late. In this work we deals with the automation of the inspection function, not only in the phase of errors determining but also the phase of analysis and treatment of errors with compensation because the final goal is not the measure of errors but the correct of defects. This calculation minimizes the distances between the probed points and the ideal surface. When the probe touches the part, the actual point of contact is unknown; it substitutes an estimated point from the center and radius of the probe and the normal docking. This creates a doubt about the actual position of the palpated point. This doubt is spreading even on the parameters of the associated surface, as well as the geometric construction for the technical verification specifications. Within this framework, standard ISO 9000 requires with the metrologist to estimate the uncertainty with which, it obtained his measurement. In this context, the current work, consists in establishing a program in Visual basic-6 serving on the one hand to determine the parameters characterizing surfaces to be measured and on the other hand, one to estimate uncertainties on these parameters to emphasize the impact of the latter on the checking of the geometrical specifications.

Algeria, like all countries around the world, is experiencing a considerable explosion of the automobile fleet due to population growth and the need for travel, which have created an imbalance in the state of road traffic in most Algerian cities, consequently causing the phenomenon of road traffic congestion. The objective of this thesis is to find a solution to congestion in complex urban intersections crossing with a tramway line, through optimal management of mixed traffic. The methodology that has been followed is based on the evaluation and optimization of two main axes, which are the performance of the tramway and the traffic control in mixed traffic intersections (tramways - vehicles). This has been done through an in-depth study of the tramway performance to show how it can worsen or improve the traffic condition, thus through a combination of two static models that allow fluidifying the traffic in this type of intersections, based on real data of the tramway operation and the actual traffic regulation. The results found proved, on the one hand, that Constantine tramway is badly managed and that its performance is weak, especially in terms of comfort and regularity. This has had a negative impact on traffic flow in mixed traffic intersections. On the other hand, the traffic flow regulation in the intersection does not respond optimally to the existing conditions, especially because the timing of the traffic lights does not respond to the actual demand. The two combined models applied in our study improved traffic flow and effectively reduced congestion at the most complex intersection. In addition, the suggested recommendations allow further improvement of the tramway's performance and traffic fluidity. Finally, this work has proved that it is possible to reduce traffic congestion while optimizing the management of mixed traffic control systems, simultaneously, without the use of new infrastructure or additional technologies.
