This research dedicated to the works of Latifa Ben Mansour aims to highlight the exchanges between narrative writing and its relation to orality by trying to show the ways of co-existence of writing and orality in the author’s novels. To achieve our goal, we have relied on a multi-disciplinary approach, given the richness and complexity of our research. First, we sought to clarify the concepts of “orality” and “writing” by taking into consideration different perspectives to determine the most appropriate for our study, we moved than to clarify the relationship between “orality” and “initiation” by following the path of characters and their ability to be realized by finding a commonplace conciliatory writing and heritage. We have in the latter to study the literary relationship between the muted oral and writing in depth literary analysis of Ben Mansour’s works in light of terms “writing” and “orality”.
