Résumé : |
This work was devoted to the study of the characteristics of periodic structures of artificial materials by the application of numerical methods. Our interest was focused on the study of multilayer structures with one-dimensional photonic crystal by proposing a new design and analysis of these structures. We first recalled the periodic structures based on photonic crystals, their different types, as well as the notions of photonic bands and the basic materials used in these structures. The second chapter approached the FDTD method, we started with the theoretical presentation of the method, then its applications in structures (1D & 2D-PCs). The third chapter, treated the method of plane waves PWE and its application in resonators. We ended with the fourth chapter, where we proposed a new design and analysis of a onedimensional photonic crystal structure (1D-PC), based on the use of artificial materials (dielectricsuperconductors-plasmas) for the design of selective filters, by studying their transmission coefficient and the effects of varying the different parameters (thicknesses, angle of incidence,
magnetic field, temperature) using the TMM method. In the end, we succeeded in making a filter, with a high quality factor, better than the filters of the previous structures; which finds great application utility in the field of optical communication.
