This research entitled ""The problem of identity in French-written African novels- the case of the Great Sahara-"" deals with the problem of identity in the modern and contemporary African novel, at different ideological and aesthetic levels. The research is centered on the identity as the most sought after entity in contemporary African cultural history, in the context of the building of the despoiled African entity. This entity questions it own existence through the perception it has of itself, of the other and of the whole colonization experience, in a reflective perspective tending to identify identity and allowing the overlap of oneself with the other. The self-reconstruction becomes a moment of complementarity working for the reconstruction of the narrative identity. This is the point at which we decipher identity as a narration in which and through which it can actually be realized. Accordingly, narration becomes a component of identity. This study and its multiple axes fall within the framework of what has become known as “Postcolonial discourse”, as well as within the framework of cultural criticism, contemporary literary theory, and new cultural studies that influenced the way we treat literature and its related disciplines which is now focused on the political and social roles literatures are fulfilling. From this perspective, the purpose of this research is to answer questions pertaining essentially to cultural criticism and literary theory and seeking to identify the relationship between philosophico- ideological structures (identity) and their representations in creative novelistic texts, together with their potential aesthetic interactions. To reach answers to these questions, the functioning of the African identity, in particular the effect it produces on the structure of the novelistic discourse is examined according to four axes, namely: The axis of narratological vision and formula: in which we investigate forms of speech (direct, indirect, abridged) generated by the relations the narrator create with the characters’ discourse. The space axis: in which we investigate the interpretative dimensions (cultural, religious, civilizational) that this space offers as a semantic structure formed according to the autobiographical vision in the spatial and biographical formation which is attached to the dichotomy of form/content. The temporal axis: this axis is treated at the horizontal and verticals as dictated by the methodology. The vertical level is dealt with through the scenic and descriptive vision. The vertical level is dealt with through memorial and speculative visions. To Begin, I Have Approached The Definition Of The New French Novel, And Its First Writers, I Was Based On Several Manuals Which Had Illuminated My Way. These Writers Had Allowed To The Publishing House To Sell Multiple Copies But This Has Never Distant Some Peple From Writing. I Cite Allain-Robbe Grillet And Also Michel Butor. This Study Is Integrated Into Comparative Studies, For This I Have Study The Fine Characteristics Of The Novel , Then Those Of The Films And I Have Find That The Metric Zone Are Several. To Finish This Study, I Added A Part In Which I Have Defined Several Terms That Seemed To Me Ambiguous And Vague. The Library Of My Thesis Included Many Novels As Well As Film And Manuals In Both Languages: French And Arabic. Finally I Hope That My Thesis Allowed To Those Who Come After To Have A Vision And A Platform That Could Help Them In Their Studies.
تداخلت الأجناس المعاصرة كما تطورت في شكلها ومضمونها خاصة قضية الرواية والسينما وتقنياتها، ويعود هذا التداخل إلى الوسائل المتقدمة في التكنولوجيا و الرقمنة، وحتى لا نخرج عن أسس الأدب الجديد ومقوماته ركزنا على التداخل بين جنسي الرواية والفيلم.
ثمة علاقة وطيدة بين الرواية والسينما في جانب الرواية المفلمة؛ لأنها عملية تحويل من كلمة إلى صورة ناطقة.
كان التوجه الفيلمي لـــ"ألان روب غرييه" بحثا عما هو جديد وتمرد على كل ما هو كلاسيكي في عالم الرواية التقليدية.
تبحث هذه الدراسة في" النص الروائي من السرد إلى الصورة، دراسة في خصائص روايات ألان روب غرييه المفلمة " ؛اندرج تحت راية السينما وبعض تقنياتها والأعمال الروائية المُفلمة. وقد تم تقسيمها إلى مدخل وثلاثة فصول، وخاتمة.
تتمحور دراستنا حول الرواية المُفلمة التي نحاول من خلالها استنطاق مضامين روايات" ألان روب غرييه"(Alain Robbe Grillet ).حيث ارتكزنا على الرواية الجديدة الفرنسية والصورة السينمائية.
استهليناه بمقدمة تبين إشكالية الموضوع المطروح وتشيد أهم المراجع المعتمدة عليها والتي أسهمت في إتمام البحث. استعرضنا في المدخل الجهاز المفاهيم يتحدثنا فيه عن الرواية الفرنسية من بدايتها، إلى غاية ظهور الرواية الجديدة، حيث قمنا بالتعريف بها وطريقة الوصول إليها، وذكر أعلامها، وأهم أثارهم الأدبية.
جاء الفصل الأول الموسوم بــ: "تقنيات السرد الروائي"، حيث يطرح هذا الفصل المستويات النظرية والأطر المفاهيمية، التي تعين على فهم النص الروائي وتقنياته وما يخصه كمحددات لمجال البحث.
أما الفصل الثاني المعنون بــ:"تقنيات السرد السينمائي"، حيث تم فيه تحديد مصطلح تقنيات السرد السينمائي، وتناولنا فيه بدايات السينما بعد تقديم نظري لأهم المصطلحات .
و الفصل الثالث التطبيقي : تندرج تحت رايته ثلاثة مباحث تغوص في مضامين الأعمال المنتجة لألان روب غرييه.
* المبحث الأول: "خصوصية العناصر السردية بين الرواية والسينما".عرجنا فيه لتحديد مفاهيم الرواية الجديدة مرورا بأشهر الدراسات الغربية والعربية
* وثاني المباحث: وسمناه بـــ"عناصر التمثيل الفيلمي في(السنة الماضية في مارينباد).
* والمبحث الثالث: "موازنة بين الرواية والسينما تطرقنا لتبيين وإظهار أوجه الاختلاف والائتلاف".
وللخلوص إلى نتائج تمكن من الإجابة على التساؤلات التي طرحت في الإشكالية من خلال نظرات تحليلية ومقارنة.
لقد استعنا في دراستنا هذه بالمنهج النقدي التحليلي الذي يتماشى وطبيعة الموضوع، من خلال تتبع مراحل تحليل العمل الفيلمي، وخاصة الجوانب المتعلقة بالصورة التي هي أساس ينبني عليه الفيلم. وما يوفره من الوسائل.
لقد اعتمدنا عددا من المراجع باللغتين العربية والفرنسية، كما وظفنا النصوص الروائية والفيلم وحاولنا إجراء مقاربة تمكن الذين سيأتون من بعدنا على البداية من حيث توقفنا.
رواية ( السنة الماضية في مارينبادL’année dernière à marienbad) جوهرة مميزة بالنسبة للرواية الفيلمية ورغم أننا وجدنا في قراءتها صعوبة لكنها تحمل الكثير من الخبايا وهي جديرة بدخول عالم السينما؛ ولعل ما ورد فيها يكون في خدمة بحوث أخرى ويسهل على الطلبة إيجاد غايتهم فيها.
ورغم أن فيلم ( السنة الماضية في مارينبادL’année dernière à marienbad) بالأبيض والأسود إلا أننا تمكنا من معاينة أهم خصائصه، وأخطر علاماته التي شكلت مثارا حقيقيا وهاجسا يستنطق الكثير من الأقلام والدراسات.

Alors qu’il est impossible d'étudier toutes les théories post-structurelles à partir de cette approche, nous allons nous suffire de mettre la lumière sur trois d’entre elles, savoir la théorie de la réception, les études culturelles et les études postcoloniales, dans la conviction qu'elle sont capables de nous donner une vision complète sur les résultats qui peuvent surgir par l’interaction entre la littérature comparée et ces théories, L'approche que nous avons supposée en mesure de combiner toutes ces théories post-structurelles est l'approche herméneutique. C'est pourquoi nous lui avons dévoué un chapitre préliminaire, au cours duquel nous avons essayé d'explorer sa nature comparative originale, et de prouver qu'elle représente une assise philosophique la plus légitime pour toutes les théories post-structurelles et postmodernistes. Chacun des trois autres chapitres traitait une théorie dans sa relation avec la comparaison. En revanche, le deuxième chapitre est réservé à la relation entre la théorie de la réceptrice et la comparaison, non pas seulement comme une relation externe, mais comme une possibilité intrinsèque à travers l’analyse des fondements de cette théorie. Le troisième chapitre est de la même manière consacré à l’étude des dimensions comparatives et interprétatives dans le domaine des études culturelles, ou ce qui est désormais appelé les «études culturelles comparées». Le quatrième chapitre est voué à la discussion des dimensions comparatives dans les études postcoloniales, où émergent quelques théoriciens à l’instar d’Edward Said, Homi Bhabha Gayatri Spivak à titre de théoriciens dans la littérature comparée. A travers ces théories, nous avons tenté d'établir l’indissociable relation des trois facettes des études contemporaines, savoir : poststructuralisme, interprétation, comparaison. Pour conclure cette étude, nous avons pu esquisser de nouvelles dimensions pour la comparaison, parallèlement à l'affirmation que la dimension ne peut pas être dépassée lorsqu’il s’agit de parler sur les théories post-structurelles. Summary of the thesis: The aim of this thesis is to study the comparative dimension in post-structural theories, and to establish all the new and distinct characteristics acquired by comparative literature in relation to these different theories. While it is impossible to study all the post-structural theories within this approach, it will be sufficient to shed light on three of them, namely the theory of reception,
cultural studies and postcolonial studies, believing that they are able to give us a complete view of the results that may arise from the interaction between
comparative literature and these theories. The approach we supposed to be able
to combine all these post-structural theories is the hermeneutic approach. That is why we devoted to it a preliminary chapter, in which we tried to explore its
original comparative nature, and to prove that it represents the most legitimate philosophical foundation for all post-structural and post-modernist theories. Each of the other three chapters dealt with a single theory in its relation to comparison. On the other hand, the second chapter is devoted to the relation between reception theory and comparison, not only as an external relation, but as an intrinsic possibility through the analysis of the foundations of this theory. The third chapter is similarly devoted to the study of comparative and interpretative dimensions in the field of cultural studies, or what is now called ""comparative cultural studies"". The fourth chapter is devoted to the discussion of comparative dimensions in postcolonial studies, where some theorists like Edward Said and Homi Bhabha Gayatri Spivak emerge as theoreticians in comparative literature. Through these theories, we have tried to establish the indissociable relation of the three facets of contemporary studies, namely: poststructuralism, interpretation, comparison. To conclude this study, we have been able to sketch new dimensions for comparison, along with the assertion that the dimension can not be exceeded when talking about post-structural theories.
