Biologie Résumé : Introduction: Sickle extremely heavy genetic and hereditary disease and complex becomes a public health problem in Algeria, it is characterized by strong painful thrust, and an obstacle to any sports activity in sickle cell children
Methodology: This is a prospective study from 1 January 2011, to the 31 December 2013 on sickle-cell children 5 to 12 years in the city of Sidi Amar.
Results: Basic Sample 8401 students (30) Case sickle cell that met our criteria were selected and used for our study in different schools Sidi Amar city of eastern Algeria. The average age of our children already known sickle cell by the hematology department of Sidi Amar is 8.20 ± 2.17 years and 8.61 ± 2.72 years for those recently found by our study. The average age of patients with sickle cell disease SS was 8.47 ± 1.56 years. The sex ratio was 1.1 with a male predominance of 53%. Families with modest and irregular income represent 84.05% 47% of the children in our study were born to consanguineous parents. SS form was predominant. Pallor and anemia dominated the clinical picture with 40% in outpatient and inpatient UDS respectively, followed asthenia 20% and jaundice with 16.66% .In addition there is an NFS disturbed namely decrease the GR rate = 2.69 × 109 elements, a rate of HGB = 6.8 g / dl, a = 32.3 MCHC g / dl and a MCV fl = 91. For a normochromic normocytic anemia. Electrophoresis Hb objective HbS rate = 87.6%.
For the assessment of pain we used several scales EVENDOL, visual analogue scale VAS, topographic Design, Digital Scale EN, and the scale of FPS faces
For the test of effort, our carriers of the sickle cell trait felt earlier and more intense fatigue, and the lower cardiovascular adaptation in carriers of sickle cell trait could be related to their hemoglobinopathies.
Conclusion: the treatment of sickle cell disease requires the implementation of an action plan
at the national level to improve the quality of life of sick children.

This study aims to provide a scientific basis for an alternative treatment to GFD in celiac disease in adults using the seed of Nigella sativa. Initially we wanted to trace the clinical profile of the disease in eastern Algeria, to achieve this objective a cross-sectional study based on 73 patients was conducted. The second objective was to study the effect of oral administration of Nigella powder on clinical manifestations of the disease by comparing
it with that of gluten-free diet as current treatment of the disease valued in a third part via a study Retrospective range of 35 subjects. The fourth objective of this thesis was to prove the potential of the NS proteolytic protease on gliadin.
The results show that celiac disease in adults in our population is a general disease of young adults, A clean feminine predominance is noted, it is characterized by a variable clinical picture and inconsistent, which may be expressed by a variety of signs intestinal symptoms and extradigestifs mainly represented by chronic diarrhea, abdominal pain, asthenia, weight loss and mucocutaneous pallor.
Oral administration of NS powder at two grams per day over two taken presented a
potential therapeutic effect against the clinical manifestations of celiac disease in adults. The NS anti-fatigue effect in this disease has been proven.
The crude enzyme extract of Nigella sativa seeds presented proteolytic activity of 84.26 UP, with an optimum pH of 1.5 and an optimum temperature of 50 ° C. This protease resisted whatever changes in pH or temperature values. We were able to demonstrate a proteolytic activity of protease Nigella on gliadin. The partially purified Nigella sativa seeds protease presented proteolytic power against gliadin, this was confirmed by analyzing the results of the SDS-PAGE and RP-HPLC. The degradation of gliadin of wheat (Triticum aestivum) was more effective compared to the gliadin of durum wheat (Triticum durum).
It is suggested that Nigella sativa track may represent a therapeutic potential in the
treatment of celiac disease in adults from the point of view of its immunomodulatory effect,anti-asthenic and improving clinical manifestations, of its nutritional value in addition to its protease degrading gliadin.

Biologie Résumé : This study aims at determining the incidence of overweight and obesity in children aged, from 7 to 8 years, attending school in the town of Constantine, with a follow-up for three years 2009-2010, 2011-2012 and 2012-2013.
The determinants of obesity are multiple and complex interactions. Beyond the individual biological or genetic factors that can not be ignored, obesity is primarily the result of an energy imbalance but this imbalance is strongly influenced by the child's environment, as well as early throughout the life.
We have also characterized in a second part of the risk factors associated with overweight. The third objective of this thesis was to investigate a relationship between fat taste and weight. Whether the oral sensitivity, in the obese, to oleic acid and normal weight children was the same. In other words, if they had the same fat taste detection thresholds or if this threshold was altered in obese children. There was a significant correlation between
age and childhood obesity.
The low level of education, corpulence of the parents, macrosomia seem to play an important role in the development of childhood obesity. Although the difference was not significant, obesity is more common in children with artificial feeding. Obese children are more sedentary compared to normal weight.
Obese children took less often breakfast compared to normal weight ones. They also tended to take more snacks in the evening and throughout the day with high energy density foods. All children consumed foods high in fat, grains, starches, meats and fish and soft drinks during lunch and dinner.
Obese children appear to have a significant reduction (40 times) in the gustatory perception of fat taste. These differences in taste sensitivity may be the result of polymorphism of CD36 gene. Early preventive actions, therefore, are necessary to stop and, if possible, reverse the progression of overweight/obesity.

Primary bone tumors are a major public health problem. Osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma are rare diseases that affect children and young adults, and are the result of impaired bone remodeling. Biochemical markers of bone remodeling are used in the diagnosis, prognosis and evaluation of bone metastases, osteoporosis in combination with imaging techniques. However, bone biomarkers of P1NP and PAO formation and those of CTX and TRAP5b bone resorption may be useful in the diagnosis, evaluation and monitoring of osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma. Firstly, we described the epidemiological and therapeutic aspects of bone tumors by a retrospective study at the level of Ibn Badis -Constantine Hospital-University Center in eastern Algeria. In a second step, we assessed serum biochemical markers of PAO and P1NP bone formation and CTX and TRAP5b bone resorption in patients with osteosarcoma (40 cases) and Ewing's sarcoma (34 cases) by the ELISA assay of these biomarkers. The latter showed good performance in the diagnosis of osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma in terms of precision before treatment, and in evaluation and follow-up after neoadjuvant chemotherapy-based treatment. On the other hand, the correlations of these biochemical markers with each other before and after treatment have allowed effective clinical evaluation of patients with both of these most common types of primary bone tumors. All of our work shows a new aspect of the diagnosis, evaluation and monitoring of osteosarcoma and Ewing's sarcoma before these are detectable by medical imaging.Note de contenu :

Biologie Résumé : Overweight and obesity in adolescence often persist into adulthood and it’s accompanied by risks of increased morbidity and mortality in patients being overweight or obese in adolescence.
A cross-sectional study with single elementary sampling nominative list of all college students enrolled in the academic year 2012/2013 has allowed us to estimate the frequency of overweight and obesity in teenagers of Constantine. For that 457 teenagers were recruited.
The frequency of overweight and obesity according to the 2007 WHO reference z-score, is respectively 18.2% and 13.2%, including 1.8% with severe obesity. Overweight and obesity are more prevalent in boys than in girls. Obesity is more common among adolescents who don’t respect the main meal of the day and those who don’t take their family meals. The obese have low nutritional knowledge and less physical activity compared to leans ones. Birth order may be identified as a risk factor. Obesity is more common among adolescents who have
parents with a higher socio-economic and socio-professional status. Breast feeding plays an essential role in the prevention of overweight in childhood and adolescence. Birth weight would influence the weight at the age of 5 and 10 years and at adolescence, anxiety of obese adolescents associated with poor felt the denial of the image of their own body size may increase overweight and obesity among these. Puberty is a critical period in the development of obesity.
The genotype of CD36 gene lingual, rs1761667 (AA) could be responsible for the low
detection of lipids and encourage teenagers to over-consume fat to have the same appreciation that subjects with the other two AG and GG genotypes.
Obesity in adolescence seems to play an important role in predicting very slight increase in glucose and lipid values, insulin and inflammatory, confirming the deleterious role of excess weight on biological data.
Through measures as dietary and behavioral, we can fight effectively against long-term obesity in adolescents.
