This study aimed to estimate the energy status, nitrogen and mineral and the activity of certains livers enzymes in Ouled Djellal sheep in relation to their physiological state, by the determination of plasma levels of (glucose, cholesterol, total protein, creatinin, uraemia, triglyceride and albumin), (Ca⁺⁺, Pi, Na⁺, K⁺, Cl⁻), (ALT, AST). Blood samples were taken on 12 sheep at each physiological stage (FG, DL, FL, and V). Analysis of the results showed that the physiological stage of the sheep have a large influence (p <0.05) on triglycerides and albumin, urea, Ca⁺⁺, Cl⁻, K⁺, Pi, ASAT, ALAT; by against the physiological stage did not show a significant effect on glycaemia, cholesterol, total protein, creatinine, Na.
