The work described in this manuscript is part of the general problem of exploring the
possibilities of controlling synthesis and magnetic properties of polynuclear complexes,
before and after their deposition on specific surfaces. We started with a literature that gives
the features and use of these compounds, then a summary of previous work with 2-hydroxy-1,
3-dithiolan-2-ylidenehydrazide benzoic acid.
The experimental work realized in the laboratory is presented in two separate chapters:
1) Synthesis and structural study of two mononuclear complexes M (HL)2 (MeOH)2.2MeOH
(M (II): Co, Ni).
In this chapter, we discussed the synthesis of mononuclear complexes obtained
following fairly conventional procedures. In addition to the IR spectroscopic analysis of the
different complexes obtained, these compounds have undergone a structural study by X-ray
diffraction which showed that these two complexes are isostructural. This study has
highlighted the different intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds of type OH ... N and O-H
... O, and CH-π (aromatic) which ensures the cohesion of molecules in the crystal lattice.
In the second chapter we have achieved the synthesis and structural study of a new
mononuclear and polymer coordination complexes. The structural study by X-ray diffraction
revealed the existence of different interactions of the type C-H…N, C-H...O and CH-π
(aromatic) in the crystal lattice of the mononuclear complexe and the existence of different
interactions of the type C-H…N, C-H...O and CH-π (aromatic) in the crystal lattice of
coordination polymer. |
