Résumé : |
Pollution from VOCs is the subject of numerous treatment studies; however, the
biotreatment of VOCs has been considered only recently. The study that we conducted
showed the effective degradation of methylethylketone in a batch reactor by using a mixed
culture of microorganisms taken from the aeration tanks of biological treatment plant of El
Menia Constantine. The study was carried out at 35 ° C.
This work involves both the study of the kinetics of growth characteristics of
microorganisms and of the biodegradation of the pollutants. We also examined the
influence of a number of operating parameters such as:
The initial concentration of biomass
The initial concentration of MEK on the rate of substrate degradation and the yield
of substrate conversion into biomass and
The influence of the presence of acetone as a second source of carbon. |
