My dissertation is divided into two main chapters. The first chapter examines the problem of inflation that was undermining the British economy. Besides that, this chapter expounds upon the historical background of inflation and its main theories so that the reader can figure what inflation is. The second chapter gives an overview about the concept of "Thatcherism» and what was its main role.
