Résumé : |
This dissertation studies the American foreign policy since the end of the Cold War. I I
have mainlconcentrated on the making of U.S foreign policy during the Bush administration,
specifically his first term (2001-2004). The attacks of 9/11 were the most important events
throuhgout U.S history. The Bush administration perpetuated two major wars; the war against
Afghanistan in 2001 and the invasion of Iraq in 2003.The first chapter represents a
background of U.S foreign policy during the Cold War and the New World Order. The second
chapter examines the Bush Doctrine, its definition, its elements and aims. The main focus of
the third chapter is the neo-conservative agenda; studying it as an ideology, and as the most
influential group in the U.S foreign policy making and the impact of this agenda on invading
Iraq. |
