British Muslims have been seriously affected and suddenly became targets of serious physical attacks, verbal abuses and acts of vandalism against mosques and Muslim institutions. This dissertation deals with the impact of the London bombings on the Muslim community in Britain. The first chapter examines Islamophobia in Britain in the period preceding the 7/7 events on emphasizing on the perception of Islam and the situation of Muslims in Britain. The second chapter studies the negative impact of the bombings on the British Muslims and the rise of hostility and hate toward Muslims.
