The development process of this evaluation is realized in three fundamental phases: 1) defining the oppressor of the black female; 2) identifying the black woman’s stereotypical roles her oppressor expects her to submissively perform; 3) analyzing the reversals Walker performs to liberate the black woman from those conventional stereotypes.
