Résumé : |
Learning the writing skill is considered as acomplex task which needs concentration, practice
and lot of efforts. The purpose of the present work is toshed light on students’ awareness
about motivation to develop their writing proficiency. Therefore, it is hypothesised that “the
more the students are motivated, the better their writing will be.” To test this hypothesis, the
data of this thesis is collected using two questionnaires-one for LMD third year students of
third students, and the other one is for written expression teachers as a more reliable source of
information. These questionnaires raise the importance of motivation, as a psychological
factor, in improving the learners’ writing proficiency. The findings of the research focus on
the importance of motivation and its crucial role in the writing process; it is emphasised on by
most of the teachers and the students. Therefore, the results support the set hypothesis; if a
learner is not motivated to write, he will no produce a correct piece of writing |
