Résumé : |
The present study is a modest work and a review of the main events that shaped the different parts of life in the United States, during the period between 1950 and 1960. The main subject of this study refers to an aspect which had been organized in the United States, during that period. This factor was the civil rights movement which worked to help blacks to obtain the first citizens class in the country today. The movement was guided by Martin Luther King who decided to overcome segregation and eliminate any kind of discrimination in the nation. The leader wanted blacks to get equal rights with whites including the right to vote.
This analytical study is an appraisal of whether Martin Luther King had been successful to change the African Americans situation in politics by making them able to get the right to vote. |
