Speaking is an essential element in language acquisition. It is the teacher role to help their
pupils to prove their speaking abilities using methods and techniques that suit the level of
different learners. Through this research, it is proposed the use of Audiovisual Aids to
help the learners promoting their level in speaking. Achieving the speaking skill is quite a
complex procedure which needs great efforts. Even though the Algerian pupils have been
studying English in the middle school, they do not have the necessary amount of
vocabulary to use in speaking and writing, and they face several problems when they
speak in the classroom. Therefore, the inclusion of some fun and motivating methods is
one of the educational ways to teach speaking and attract students‟ attention. Audiovisual
Aids are one of these tools. They increase learners‟ participation and decrease their
problems in speaking. They also faster autonomous learning. |
