The main concern of this research is to explore the approach of speaking English
fluently and communicate it effectively. Like other ESL countries, students’ poor
pronunciation and misunderstanding becomes the Cause of anxiety for the teachers. The
importance of teaching Good pronunciation and learning communicative competence cannot
be denied. So, ESL teachers should help their students to develop their communication skills.
Without learning Correct pronunciation or fluent language other aspects of English language
like grammar, vocabulary become useless. This present study aims to find out the difficulties
that teachers and students face in learning and teaching communicative competence and fluent
language. For the study purpose questionnaires survey was conducted with a view to knowing
teachers’ point of view and the students’ point of view the participants were the students of
different second year classes of English department at the university of Mentouri |
