Résumé : |
The present study attempts to investigate the relationship between think pair share (TPS) as a
co-operative learning technique and interaction among first year LMD students of English at
the University of Frères Mentouri 01, Constantine, Algeria. Therefore, it is hypothesized that:
if the think pair share (TPS) technique is used in EFL classroom, then the students‟ interaction
will be enhanced. To test this hypothesis, a questionnaire for students and another one for
teachers of oral expression are used as a data collection tool. These questionnaires help in
reporting their opinions and attitudes toward using this technique. The results show that
students are engaged when working in pairs and in groups, and teachers consider TPS to be
beneficial for students to enhance their interaction, and this confirms the hypothesis of the
current study which states that: if the think pair share (TPS) technique is used in EFL
classroom, then the students‟ interaction will be enhanced |
