Résumé :	The current study explored teachers’ and EFL learners’ learners’ perceptions and beliefs about using songs in learning vocabulary among 24 second-year students of English and 10 teachers at the Department of English, University of Constantine 1. The study hypothesised that if EFL teachers and learners are aware of the importance of songs in vocabulary learning, then they will report themselves as having positive beliefs about the use of the songs and its potentially significant role in enhancing vocabulary learning. The study used the questionnaire as a data collection tool to investigate participants perceptions and beliefs. The obtained findings showed both teachers and learners’ positive perceptions and beliefs that songs are a useful learning material in learning English as a foreign language, and emphasised the important role songs equally have in improving learners’ vocabulary.
