The presented research aimed to confirm how the positive teacher-student relationship is an
important factor in the students' learning achievements. It assumes that when the students
receive care and attention from their teachers, they will be able to foster a healthy relationship
with them; so a chance to become motivated, engaged and active students will be provided.
This research provides the main role of the positive teacher-student relationship in the
students' academic progress as it suggests several strategies and techniques that may be used
by the teachers in order to build such relationships. In addition, it provides the teachers some
ways and keys for dealing with some students' misbehaviors and attitudes that may create
serious obstacles during their learning. The tool used in this research is the students'
questionnaire which revealed that healthy learning requires a strong, positive and supportive
relationship between teachers and students, and between students themselves inside the
classroom. |
