It is an attempt to draw attention to the role of adopting the adequate method that may help them to create a high quality translation using pure Arabic vocabulary. The data was gathered by means of a research tool in the form of a performance test, which consists of ten terms in English, one text in English and the second in Arabic and three sentences. From the aforementioned questions, it is hypothesized that if students deal with scientific texts following an appropriate method of translating and transmitting the source text meaning with suitable items, they will reach a convenient translation. The hypothesis is confirmed, the analysis of the data confirms that students’ mistakes are due to their misuse of the appropriate method while translating scientific texts and their insufficient linguistic background in the field of science.
