This dissertation is a total of two chapters, it is intended to investigate the influence of
motivation on speaking performance of students in the classroom. The two main variables
here are motivation and oral performance. This study aimed at investigating the role of
motivation on speaking performance of students, to know how it can develop the learners’
level in speaking. The tools used in this work are teachers’ questionnaire and students’
questionnaire of second year LMD in the university of Constantine 1.
The results shown that motivation plays an important role in enhancing the oral production of
students through several motivational strategies in the learning process.
The second aim of this research is to know what is the relationship between motivation and
speaking performance. |
