Résumé : |
The present study aims to investigate the impact of CLT activities on developing EFL
students’ oral performance. The problem underlying this research is that most EFL
students face obstacles while speaking English. This may be attributed to many reasons
that could be psychological or linguistic. To carry our investigation and confirm our
hypothesis, IF EFL teachers use communicative activities such as (role-play, games,
conversation, and debates…) in oral session course, learners will enhance their oral
proficiency and use English fluently and accurately. To that end two questionnaires
have been designed one was destined to the teachers of oral expression and the second
one to 2nd year EFL students at the department of English at the university of
Constantine 1, to proof whether the implementation of CLT activities promotes the
teaching process and on the other hand to point out the problems EFL students face in
oral expression course and how CLT activities can help them improve their oral skill.
After The analyses, CLT activities proved to be effective in ameliorating students
speaking skill. |
