So, this study seeks to determine the amount of the influence of personality types on the learning spoken English of second year student at the university of Frères Mentouri Constantine 1 . It aims at finding how students’ personality style may affect their English speaking how students’ personality style may affect their English speaking proficiency . It is hypothesized that the more students are extrovert ,the better their speaking fluency is . In order to well investigate this research , two questionnaire were administered to teachers and students in the department of English at Mentouri University . Students’ questionnaire was handed to one group of second year composed of 26 students . In addition , teachers’ questionnaire was handed to 10 teachers of oral expression . Based on the results obtained , the findings reveal that EFL students’ personality type influence to some extent their speaking fluency achievement .
