This study attempts to investigate the EST technical vocabulary problems which Master One
Applied Language Studies learners face, and to facilitate the learning of EST courses. The
study also tries to enhance the EST technical vocabulary of Master One Applied Language
Studies students at University of Constantine 1.The study evenly investigates the difficulty
teachers face in teaching EST together with the students’ needs of EST technical vocabulary
when dealing with EST texts. For this, it is hypothesized that if Master One Applied
Language Studies students learn to have knowledge of EST vocabulary, they will be willing
to take the EST classes. To check the hypothesis, two questionnaires, one for teachers and one
for students and a test have been used. The results confirm the hypothesis. So, it can be said
that Master One Applied Language Studies students want to have knowledge of EST
vocabulary and they are willing to take EST classes more enthusiastically |
