This study aims at investigating second year students of English attitudes towards motivation
effect on improving their level in writing at the university Frères Mentouri, Constantine 1. It is
hypothesized that If second year English students are motivated in the classroom, their writing
capacities will develop. Data is gathered through two questionnaires handed for English
students of second year and teachers in the English department, Frères Mentouri Constantine.
The participants of this study are thirty five (35) randomly selected second year students and
nine (9) teachers of English at the department of English, Frèers Mentouri university. The
results obtained from both questionnaires show that the majority of students are aware of the
importance of motivation, and most of them are active while they are motivated. The results
plainly confirm the hypothesis. |
