Résumé : |
Having a well-organized and controlled classroom turned out to be an essential key concept
when planning a foreign language lesson nowadays. Actually, an effective teacher is the one
who creates a good and a comfortable teaching/learning environment. This research seeks to
determine the importance of classroom management and the crucial role of the teacher in
creating a suitable atmosphere inside the classroom. Besides, it aims to investigate teachers'
attitudes towards the impact of well managed classroom on developing students' selfregulation. The underlying hypothesis is that teachers believe that well managed classroom
would develop middle school students' self-regulation. The educational setting in which this
study takes place is middle schools in Constantine. Agroup of 10 teachers is selected
randomly as a sample in the current work. In order to achieve the aims of this research,
answer the research question, and attempt to confirm the validity of the stated hypothesis, one
tool is used, namely; teachers` questionnaire. It aims at exploring teachers' attitudes towards
the impact of well managed classroom on developing students' self-regulation.The results
obtained from the questionnaire are in the direction of our hypothesis and demonstrate that
middle school teachers confirmthe importance of preparing a well-managed/organized
classroom for having an effective learning/teaching process, especially; self-regulation.
Therefore, teachers are recommended to train their students to become more self-regulated
learners taking into consideration the educational environment that plays a crucial role in
doing so. |
