All the four skills are of an equal importance , reading , listening , writing , and
speaking skills . Most students lack the speaking skill more than the rest three ones for it
needs to be direct , immediate , and accurate performance that results in a lot of pressure on
st
udents . Consequently , this research aims to investigate the relation between students
psychological state and their oral performance regarding mental disorders ( depression ,
st
ress , and anxiety ) among third year licence degree students of English at Mentouri
University Constantine 1 , Department of English Language . The gathered data to study the
validity of the hypothesis stating that the psychological side of students effects the
transformation of ideas and thoughts into speech and oral expression performance , and to be
tested ; were collected from a test and a questionnaire submitted to a sample of thirty three
st
udents . As the findings were analyzed , the final results assured that the psychological side
of students effects the process of their transformation of ideas into speech . |
