characters and the aftermath of their illnesses and suffering in a contemporary setting. For the
reason that previous research lack a fair and equal evaluation of the reception of female mental
illness by both sexes, the purpose of this study lays on examining the different perceptions of
female rage by the two sexes equally and exploring the origins of such views as well as the
common misconception of all women are a little crazy. These beliefs and hierarchies are
assessed in this research in terms of psychoanalytic Feminism and gender development theory,
which give us a clearer picture of the nature of such reception that consists of both feminized
and non-gendered one.Diplome : Master 2 Permalink : https://bu.umc.edu.dz/master/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=15872 Gendered Notions Of Mental Illness: The Reception Of Female Rage In Gillian Flynn’s Sharp Objects [texte imprimé] / Rayene Touil, Auteur ; Meriem Boussafsaf, Directeur de thèse . - CONSTANTINE [ALGERIE] : Université Frères Mentouri Constantine, 2021 . - 63 f. ; 30 cm.
