Résumé : |
The main focus of this research work is the 9/11 attacks and its impact on the making of U.S. foreign policy. It states the similarities and differences in conducting American foreign policy before and after September 11th attacks. It also discusses the type of American foreign policy during the last decades (after September 11th, 2001 attacks) in comparison with the previous decade of the Cold War 1945-1990. Collecting data from primary and secondary sources, in addition to opinions of expert people was the most important method for understanding and analyzing American foreign policy before and after the 9/11 attacks. This method helped determine and understand the type of American foreign policy during that era and come up with the conclusion that there are actually no differences in devising policies between pre-9/11 and after 9/11 attacks. These assaults were no more than an opportunity for Washington to force its doctrines abroad. |
